Day One/Preparation and Departure

It is the first day of the adventure. Utah to California. My brother and I are still packing. It's a strange feeling to be free. To do whatever, whenever, wherever. Our itinerary is absolutely wide open. We have no set plans, places to go, when to be here or there. Only see the world. Do what we want.

We leave for the California coast in about two hours. Our way of transportation is a 95' Chevy Astro. Both of the back seats are out and we have enough room for a legitimate dance party in the back. We have enough canned food for a small army.  We have a full-forced camera arsenal; two Canon T-70's, one with B&W film (Kodak Professional ISO 100), the other color film (Kodak ISO 200 and 800),  a Canon Rebel T2i with two lenses and an adapter that allows use of the older Canon lenses to fit on the new latch, and last but not least a Go-Pro. With such gear we should have enough footage/pictures to make a film. What about is still to be unfolded. Where our journey takes us and what we see will be the basis of the film.

It may not be easy, but it will be worth it.
